Supporting Missions

We believe that missions is the heartbeat of God. Our prayer is that, God will give us "Kingdom eyes and a great commission heart." Nearly 20% of our current budget supports both local and Global Missions. Each month we take time to specifically pray and connect with a mission we support.

The Mission Team purpose is to P.R.A.Y. for missionaries and will seek to accomplish the following four goals:

P - Personal Contact. Each member of the missions team will b personally responsible for a couple of our missionaries and will communicate regularly with their missionary.

R - Remember. The missions team member will organize care packages for their missionary and will coordinate the sending of these care packages on special days such as holidays, birthdays and/or anniversaries.

A - Advocate. The missions team member will become an advocate on behalf of the missionary. They bring prayer needs, spiritual needs, and physical needs of the missionaries before the church. Focused prayer time and updating the missions board will be part of this advocacy.

Y - Youth. The missions team member will coordinate with the youth minister to highlight the need for missionaries to serve in various context.

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him, but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 18:16-20)
